ELECTRONIC WASTE DROP-OFF- TOWN OF DECATUR RESIDENTS ONLY – 12:00 NOON 10/18/2021 TO 12:00 NOON ON 10/20/2021

There will be an electronic waste collection on Monday, October 18, 2021 thru Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Town of Decatur Town Hall at 1408 -14th St., Brodhead, WI.  A roll-off dumpster will be provided beginning at 12:00 noon on 10/18/2021 until 12:00 noon on 10/20/21.  Please make all drop-offs during those time frames.  NO LARGE APPLIANCES SUCH AS REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS, OR RANGES ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF!


Solar Field Project Info

If anyone is looking for information on a solar field project, it is controlled by and overseen by the Public Service Commission, not the Town of Decatur.  You can view information on this in docket 6680-CE-183. In this docket, Alliant Energy (Wisconsin Power and Light) is applying to construct six solar generation facilities and the one near the Town of Decatur and Albany is one of these six.

ATV/UTV Usage on Town Roads

All Town of Decatur Town Roads are open for ATV/UTV usage as of April 1, 2021. Please follow the dictates of the Ordinance – see link below:
 
Please note that ATV/UTV usage does NOT extend to County Roads or to the shared roads of Decatur-Albany Road and Decatur-Sylvester Road. Otherwise, all other Town Roads are open.
